Regular Tours

Tropic Holidays regular departure tours do appeal to a wide range of nationalities and budgets. These safaris offer an ideal opportunity to experience the highlights of Kenya and Tanzania without incurring the expense of an exclusive private safari. We have designed a selection of tours by road and air.
These tours range from a one-night stay safari to a comprehensive fifteen-day safari incorporating the very best of both Kenya and Tanzania. With a wide selection of tours operating weekly, it is easy to plan a safari according to preference and time available. We operate "seat-in-bus" safari tours using safari microbuses with guaranteed window seats for all guests. Some safari itineraries can involve transportation in vehicles operated by camps/lodges. The seat configurations in these can and will vary.

Short safaris - by Road

TT&T: 001 - Best of Aberdares              ITINERARY AT GLANCE

Day 1: You will be picked from your hotel and depart for the Aberdare National Park. The night will be spent in one of the tree lodges i.e. The Ark, Treetops or Mountain Lodge. Game viewing in the evening overlooking floodlit waterholes.

Day 2: After breakfast depart for Nairobi where you will be dropped off at your hotel.

TT&T: 002 - Kilimanjaro Trail Safari    ITINERARY AT GLANCE

Day 1: You will be picked from your hotel and drive to Amboseli National Park, situated at the foothills of the Majestic Mount Kilimanjaro – the highest mountain in Africa arriving for lunch at the lodge/tented camp followed by afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge or similar

Day 2: Full day game drive at Amboseli National Park with chances of seeing the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, which is the highest snow peaked mountain in Africa. All meals will be served at the Amboseli Serena Lodge or similar.

Day 3: After breakfast, game en route as you proceed to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.

TT&T: 003 - Cheetah Trail Safari          ITINERARY AT GLANCE

Day 1: You will be picked from your hotel on a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley past its extinct volcanoes to Masai Mara National Reserve. Afternoon game drive to view the "Big Five" and other wildlife in the magnificent scenery of the Mara, famous for the Wildebeest and Zebra migration and its abundance of resident plains game. Overnight Mara Simba Lodge or similar

Day 2: Morning and afternoon game drives in this spectacular game reserve, all with superb photographic opportunities. Today you may opt for an early morning balloon excursion to experience the panoramic Mara from a birds-eye view (optional and not included in the price).Overnight at Mara Simba Lodge or similar

Day 3: After breakfast depart for Nairobi arriving late afternoon

TT&T: 004 – Giraffe Safari                    ITINERARY AT GLANCE

Day 1; You will be picked from your hotel and drive north past the equator to Samburu Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at the lodge/tented camp followed by afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Samburu Serena Lodge or similar

Day 2;  Full day game drive giving you a chance to see rare species of game which include Grevy's zebra, long naked gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, beiza oryx, among other wild not forgetting many bird species. All meals served and overnight at the Samburu Serena Lodge or similar

Day 3; After breakfast depart for Nairobi arriving late afternoon.

TT&T: 005 – Joy Adamson safari                      ITINERARY AT GLANCE

Day 1: You will be picked from your hotel and drive to Meru National Park arriving in time for lunch at Elsa’s Kopje or Leopard rock lodge. Afternoon game drive followed by dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Visit Meru National Museum followed by lunch. L ate afternoon proceed for another game drive before you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: After breakfast depart for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon

TT&T: 006 - Elephant Safari                 ITINERARY AT GLANCE

Day 1: You will depart Nairobi in the morning and proceed to Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch at the lodge and a rest before an afternoon game drive enables you to explore this wonderland set so picturesquely at the foot of Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight in a lodge.

Day 2: Before breakfast a final game drive can be taken in Amboseli when Mt. Kilimanjaro usually appears from its mantle of clouds, weather permitting. After breakfast drive to Tsavo West National Park crossing a dramatic lava flow at the Park boundary. Lunch is followed by a game drive in this, Kenya's largest Park, noted especially for its enormous elephant population. Also visit Mzima Springs an oasis where hippo and crocodile can usually be seen. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: After breakfast return to Nairobi via the main highway from Mombasa reaching Nairobi at around lunch time.
